Ants: The insect known as ants have segmented bodies with three distinct body parts; head, thorax, and abdomen, in a range of colors like black, brown, and reddish. They are insects that exhibit social behavior and live in colonies, leaving visible trails of pheromones. This makes it straightforward to track them to their nesting sites.

Cockroaches: Cockroaches have flat bodies with elongated antennae and a set of six legs that come in either brown or black. They are most active at night and often hide in dark, moist areas during the day. They have fast reproductive rates and can act as disease carriers. You get efficient eradication when you understand their hiding spots.

Bed Bugs: Bed bugs are small with flat, oval bodies the size of an apple seed. They feed on blood and commonly hide around beds and furniture.

Termites:Termites are mostly pale insects with soft bodies and can sometimes be winged. They feed on cellulose, which is typically located in wood and paper products. They make mud tubes for shelter and can lead to structural damage over time.

Rodents: The creatures known as rats are larger and have thicker tails than mice. They are nocturnal and often leave gnaw marks and droppings around. They hide in dark areas and squeeze through small openings.

Mosquito:Diminutive winged creatures with slender bodies and thin legs. They lay their eggs in unmoving water and are most active during dawn and dusk.

Spiders: Spiders possess two main body parts and typically eight legs. Spiders come in diverse sizes, shapes, and colors. It is vital to understand the harmful species and their preferred habitat.

Hamshire (/ˈhæmʃər/ HAM-shər) is an unincorporated community in western Jefferson County, Texas, United States. It is part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area and located on State Highway 124 twenty miles southwest of Beaumont. It was probably named for Lovan Hamshire, who developed the land as early as the 1870s. Hamshire was on the Gulf and Interstate Railway with a post office being established there in 1897. A townsite plat was filed in 1911 by Theodore F. Koch. Another major land dealer, Herbert Roedenbeck, subdivided additional land south of the railroad later that year, giving the subdivision the name Hamshire Gardens. Although there was interest shown by local rice farmers, Hamshire had only fifty inhabitants in 1928. The Fannett (1927) and Stowell (1941) oil fields discovery initiated new development in western Jefferson County. By 1940, the population in Hamshire had grown to 200. Natural gas production at the Hamshire field also continued to be of major importance to the community's economy through the 1980s. By 1985 the community had an estimated 350 residents and twenty-two businesses. In 1990 the population remained an estimated 350.
