If the situation is severe or persistent, ensure to reach out to us at All Pest Control Services, Somerset, MD. Here's some advice to help recognize common pests and gain insights into their habits:

Ants: The insect known as ants have segmented bodies with a body consisting of three sections; head, thorax, and abdomen, in a range of colors like black, brown, and reddish. They are insects that exhibit social behavior and live in colonies, leaving visible trails of pheromones. This makes it easy to track them to their nesting sites.

Cockroaches: The creatures known as cockroaches have flat bodies with long antennae and a set of six legs that come in brown or black. They are nocturnal and often hide in dark, moist areas during the day. They have fast reproductive rates and can carry diseases. You get efficient eradication when you understand their hiding spots.

Bed Bugs: Bed bugs are small with flat, oval bodies the size of an apple seed. They feed on blood and typically hide around beds and furniture.

Termites:Termites are mostly pale insects with soft bodies and can sometimes be winged. They feed on cellulose, which is commonly found in wood and paper products. They make mud tubes for shelter and can cause structural damage over time.

Rodents: The creatures known as rats are larger and have thicker tails than mice. They are nocturnal and often leave gnaw marks and droppings around. They hide in dark areas and squeeze through small openings.

Mosquito:Diminutive winged creatures with slender bodies and thin legs. They breed in stagnant water and are most active during dawn and dusk.

Spiders: They have two main body parts and typically eight legs. These creatures come in diverse sizes, shapes, and colors. It is vital to understand the harmful species and their preferred habitat.

Somerset's history dates back to 1890, when five government scientists purchased a 50-acre (20-hectare) parcel of tobacco farmland from the government for the purpose of setting up a residential community. This land was originally part of the Friendship Tract, a 1713 gift of 3,000 acres (1,200 hectares) to a couple of early Maryland colonists which is now the basis for the nearby Friendship Heights area. Five early streets were arranged and remain to this day: Dorset, Warwick, Surrey, Cumberland, and Essex, after the English counties. The first home in Somerset was occupied by Dr. Charles A. Crampton in 1893, and by 1905 there were 35 residences.
